Second Edition of FIFA’s Integrity Handbook

FIFA recently launched the second edition of its integrity handbook called “Protect the Integrity of Football“. The purpose of this handbook is to assist FIFA’s member associations and stakeholders in the fight against match manipulation.

This second edition provides guidance on how to:

• appoint an integrity officer;
• establish reporting mechanisms;
• design an integrity-related education program;
• establish a media strategy; and
• conduct an investigation and organize disciplinary hearings.

It has a new section on the adjudication of integrity-related offenses, including a detailed explanation of the steps involved in a disciplinary proceeding.
